The Website is operated by Pilbara Equities Pty Ltd (trading as Pilbara Finance). Pilbara Equities Pty Ltd is a Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number 478535) of Mortgage Specialists Pty Ltd, holder of Australian Credit Licence Number 387025.

References to "we", "us" and "our" in these Terms are references to Pilbara Equities Pty Ltd. References to "you" and "your" are references to the person accessing the Website or engaging our services.

3. Use of our website

You may use the Website for lawful personal and business purposes related to our finance broking services. You agree that you will not:

6. Our broking services

When you engage us to provide credit assistance, we act as your finance broker. Our role is to help identify lenders and loan products that may suit your needs, prepare and submit loan applications, and liaise with lenders on your behalf.

What we do not do

• We are not a lender and do not provide credit directly
• We do not guarantee that any particular loan will be approved, or approved on specific terms
• We do not provide legal, tax or financial planning advice
• We do not recommend loan products from every lender in the market — our panel of lenders will be disclosed in your Credit Guide and Credit Proposal

Fees and commissions

In most cases, lenders pay us commission when a loan settles. Where any fee is payable by you, we will disclose it in writing in our Credit Quote or Credit Proposal Disclosure Document before you commit. Details of our remuneration arrangements are set out in our Credit Guide.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide us with accurate and complete information, to promptly tell us about any change in your circumstances during the application process, and to respond to reasonable requests for supporting documents. Providing false or misleading information may amount to a serious offence.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, layout, design and software — is owned by or licensed to Pilbara Equities Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trade mark laws.

You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise reproduce, modify, republish, transmit, distribute or create derivative works from any content on the Website without our prior written consent. The "Pilbara Finance" name and logo are our trade marks and may not be used without permission.
