and Counting
We learned this in a mining town, which is why a service city makes sense
Pilbara Finance was built in Karratha, in Western Australia's north west, arranging finance for people whose income came off a mine site and whose postcode made lenders nervous. Rockhampton is the other side of that coin and we like it for exactly that reason. It is a proper city with health, education, government, agriculture and a port underneath it, which means lenders look at it on its own merits rather than through a resources lens, while a good number of the people living here still earn resources money out in the Bowen Basin. We understand both halves of that, which not many brokers looking at a Queensland file do.
